Our class had a great time today reviewing over shapes! We looked deeper into each shape, and noticed that each shape had special attributes about them.
Creating the square and rectangle with our students was the most interesting part! It had the same amount of sides and vertices (corners) but the lengths were definitely different!
Students problem solved and figured out how to fix our rectangle's length problem by adding 2 students to the top and bottom of our rectangle.
There was a student who figured out that if you place 2 taller students at the top and bottom of the shape, and 2 shorter students on the sides, it would also create a rectangle.
