Snow Day at Roberts!

We are beginning to teach our Kindergarteners how to conduct research! We've introduced the terms "topic", "resource", "glossary", "facts", and "notefacts". We will continue to introduce these terms throughout the week so that the students are familiar with what they mean.
Our research topic is chosen based on the curriculum that is being learned at that time. Since our IB Unit is "How Climate Affects Our Lives", we have voted on researching the topic "Tornadoes".
We will be discussing more about different kinds our resources to retrieve factual information about tornadoes.
If you would like to take it a step further at home, you may look at different sources about tornadoes.
